Models, Dolls and Mannikins

First shown at Ginkgo Gallery, 166 St. John’s Road, Glebe, March 2012

The faces of certain models, dolls and mannikins have such tender expressions that they might be commemorations of flesh-and-blood people who were loved, longed for, imagined by their makers. They are brought together only in photographs as a clan of wandering souls.
